The Strategic Payments Partnerships team develops and manages relationships with payment methods and ecosystem partners that enable Stripe’s product strategy and deliver new capabilities to Stripe users. The team executes high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across new products, geographic expansion, user advocacy, and policy. These partnerships materially affect Stripe and the products used by millions of Stripe users.

- Experience working in a product-centric environment with meaningful internal and external dependencies. Experience with payments, payment methods, wallets, BNPL, or financial services is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and operational skills, including the ability to define goals and metrics, manage multiple workstreams, maintain tight processes, and use performance insights to improve execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence internal and external stakeholders across a broad range of functions.

- Manage go-to-market strategy and enablement for defined payment method partners, products, and/or geographies, creating and executing plans that increase distribution and adoption across Stripe’s user base.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders with varying priorities, driving alignment on shared goals. Ensure methodical partner and deal management rooted in clear milestones, performance metrics, and mutual opportunities.
- Use industry and partner knowledge to inform partnership and product plans, and execute agreements and initiatives that support Stripe’s established strategy.
- Gather input from and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Risk, Legal, Product, and Engineering, to execute partner initiatives and related product plans.
- Work with Sales, Product Sales, Marketing, and Product Marketing to create enablement resources and drive initiatives that increase payment method adoption within Stripe’s user base.
- Identify partner stakeholders who can champion Stripe, educate them on Stripe’s value proposition, and build alignment between Stripe and partner teams.
- Bring an operationally focused mindset to relationship management by setting clear goals, running tight processes, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve execution.
