What it asks for · 5
- 7+ years of experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or a related technology industry, including designing payment solutions or financial architectures for enterprise customers.

- Experience advising large B2B and/or B2C enterprises on payment modernization, checkout optimisation, conversion and authorization improvement, cost optimisation, network compliance, or processing reliability.
- Strong understanding of the APAC payments landscape and cross-border payment considerations
- Strong project management, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to work independently through ambiguity; professional fluency in English and Business Mandarin to conduct business and technical conversations with stakeholders across SEA, ANZ and Greater China
Also a plus
- Experience with Stripe or integrating RESTful APIs into web or mobile applications.
- Experience with Optimised Checkout, payment orchestration, adaptive payment-routing approaches, or checkout-conversion optimisation.
- Experience with online payments, marketplaces, subscriptions, platforms, or multi-party money movement.
- Experience working in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or payments-specialist role.
- Experience building a new regional function, creating repeatable operating practices, or succeeding as an early in-region hire within a globally distributed organisation.
What the job covers
- Lead complex enterprise customer engagements from discovery through solution design, implementation planning, and measurement of business impact across Managed Payments, Adaptive Pricing, OCS, and local payment methods.
- Advise customers on scalable payments architecture, including payment orchestration, multi-currency flows, cards, wallets, local payment methods, fraud and risk systems, and money-movement rails.
- Conduct deep discovery with business and technical stakeholders, develop solution scopes and reference architectures, and guide trade-offs across conversion, authorization, cost, risk, customer experience, and implementation complexity.
- Act as an APAC payments thought leader by bringing regional market insight including cross-border and local payment-method considerations to customers, sales teams, and Stripe’s product and engineering organizations.
- Scale the broader organization through reusable APAC assets, customer workshops, coaching on strategic opportunities, and collaboration with internal teams and customers across the region; travel approximately 25% as needed.
