What the job covers
- Counsel Stripe product and engineering teams on a range of issues relating to Stripe's software solutions, including Stripe Revenue Suite, Stripe Profiles, and Stripe Atlas.
- Closely collaborate with teams across Stripe (including, engineering, partnerships, privacy and security teams) to deliver pragmatic and actionable legal advice to your clients on a range of issues related to the product development lifecycle - from initial scoping to launch
- Draft, review, and update internal and external-facing foundational terms and documents for Stripe’s products and service offerings
- Stay up-to-date (with the support of Stripe’s many legal subject matter experts) on laws and regulations dealing with consumer financial data access; analyze laws, regulatory updates, industry trends to proactively advise clients of potential product impacts
- Participate as a proactive business partner to your product team and build a trusted advisor relationship offering key legal and strategic business input in evolving Stripe and its product roadmap and strategy
