Scale is looking for a Head of Corporate Accounting to lead its global Corporate Accounting function. Reporting directly to the Global Controller, you will own general ledger, cost, and international accounting and consolidation, leading a team of functional leads across each area. This role will be instrumental in optimizing our month-end close process, reducing inefficiencies and risk, and scaling the processes, controls, agentic workflows and systems that support Scale's growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep U.S. GAAP expertise, extensive experience running a multi-entity global close, and a proven track record of leading process improvement projects that deliver measurable results. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong experience with NetSuite
• Deep experience with multi-entity international subsidiaries, intercompany accounting, and global consolidation
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities within deadlines
• Proven track record of leading process improvement projects end to end (e.g., shortening the close, automating reconciliations and accruals, implementing close or ERP tooling) with measurable results
• Ability to challenge the status quo, influence change, and streamline processes and operations

Also a plus

• Hands-on experience implementing AI-powered accounting or close automation tools
• Experience at a fast-growing AI or technology company
