At Databricks, we’re all builders. This role will develop the future of technical GTM Onboarding in the era of AI and innovate a highly-scaled program with a builder mentality.

What it asks for · 8

  • 5+ years of experience in a GTM role, including solution engineering or solution architecture, post-sales or delivery, GTM enablement, or GTM Onboarding in a hyper-growth SaaS/AI environment.
  • Deep technical skills and strong knowledge of a Field Engineering organization.
  • A sharp instinct for field-readiness and the judgment to design a ramp that gets someone there fast.
  • Demonstrated ability to own high-impact and scaled programs over time, with outsized outcomes as an individual contributor.
  • Experience building technical enablement or internal tools with AI (skills, apps, or content) and demonstrated ability integrate AI into programmatic workflows.
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Exceptional communication. You make complex technical concepts land for a technical audience across every role and tenure.
  • A bias for shipping and iterating in a fast-moving environment.

Also a plus

  • Hands-on Databricks experience, or experience with competitive platforms.
  • Familiarity with a consumption-based business motion.
  • Experience designing onboarding or enablement at a data, AI or infrastructure company during a period of rapid scaling.
  • Comfortable with facilitation and the ability to “own the room” from the front of the classroom.

What the job covers

  • Reimagine Field Engineering Onboarding and serve as the technical innovation engine for ramping technical GTM teams.
  • Leverage deep technical expertise to build, ship, and accelerate AI-native onboarding experiences, avoiding manual, one-size-fits-all approaches with tools that scale globally.
  • Codify what 'great' looks like for a new Field Engineer in an AI-first world — working with FE leadership and StratOps to translate field expectations into measurable onboarding milestones.
  • Advance the Field Engineering in-person onboarding experiences and lead the global planning and delivery, partnering with Onboarding Ops and Technical Trainers.
  • Serve as an advisor and trusted enablement partner to the Solution Engineering early career program.
  • Build strong partnerships with global Field Engineering, Product, and StratOps leaders to keep onboarding current and grounded in what the field actually needs on day one.
  • Accountable for Field Engineering Onboarding OKRs - role-readiness and velocity - and collaborate with StratOps on leading indicators and results.
  • Travel (up to 25%) for onboarding program delivery as you deploy new features and continuously innovate.

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched November 1, 2026 and last changed by Databricks on October 19, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds. Openings close without warning; check the source before spending an evening on it.
