As part of our accelerating growth, Databricks is looking for a dynamic Digital Native Account Executive to join our team in Seoul, Korea. In this role, your primary mission will be to identify, acquire, and expand business opportunities within Korea’s most innovative digital native companies, including high-growth startups, scale-ups, and tech unicorns.

What it asks for · 7

  • 5+ years of software/cloud sales experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, or consumption-based PaaS solutions to the Korean market, with an emphasis on digital native/tech sector accounts.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in complex sales cycles, selling data, analytics, cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML platforms.
  • Strong command of structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Value Selling, Command of the Message).
  • Deep understanding of the Digital Native buying process, modern engineering mindsets, and developer/architect evaluation criteria.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate consumption/usage-based business models and partner co-selling strategies.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex technical architectures into compelling business outcomes.
  • Native-level fluency in Korean and professional working proficiency in English.

What the job covers

  • Evangelize the Databricks Data + AI Platform across the Korean Digital Native ecosystem, establishing Databricks as the foundational standard for modern data and GenAI workloads.
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new pipeline opportunities independently and in collaboration with the Databricks BDR team.
  • Drive end-to-end sales motions from initial contact to contract closure, compressing decision cycles through value-driven validation.
  • Establish strong relationships with C-level and key technical decision-makers, including CTOs, Heads of AI/ML, and VP-level Engineering and Data Architecture roles.
  • Execute a land-and-expand strategy by driving platform consumption, identifying new high-impact data use cases, and steering renewals/upsells within won accounts.
  • Orchestrate internal technical resources (Solutions Architects, Customer Success) and cloud ecosystem partners (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) to maximize sales velocity and customer value.
  • Exceed individual activity, pipeline generation, and annual revenue targets while building a scalable territory plan.

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched November 2, 2026 and last changed by Databricks on November 1, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds. Openings close without warning; check the source before spending an evening on it.
