This Manager role within Databricks’ Credit & Collections organisation is responsible for driving credit strategy, strategic customer collections, AR performance, and complex escalations across a high-growth, usage-based Data/AI business. The role combines financial and commercial judgment with hands-on customer engagement, functional oversight of collection operations, and governance of the outsourced collections model. This is a high-impact opportunity for a CA, CPA, or experienced finance professional to take ownership of credit risk, cash, strategic customer relationships, and AR performance at Databricks scale.

What it asks for · 12

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is a must; CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive experience across Credit & Collections, ideally within high-growth SaaS, technology, or complex B2B environments
  • Proven experience in credit risk assessment, collections strategy, and managing strategic or high-value customer relationships
  • Strong understanding of usage-based and subscription billing models, commercial contracts, and associated credit risks
  • Demonstrated experience owning AR KPIs, collection targets, CEI, DSO, ageing, cash forecasting, write-offs, and bad debt/reserve analysis
  • Experience operationalising credit policies, approval frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Experience governing outsourced collections operations against defined SLAs and performance metrics
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate large datasets into clear financial and risk insights
  • Advanced Excel and strong ERP/reporting systems experience; SAP, NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
  • Demonstrated experience driving process transformation, automation, or technology-enabled improvements; practical application of AI in finance or AR operations is a plus
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and senior cross-functional stakeholders
  • This role will require working in PST hours.

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, Legal, Billing, and Finance leadership to resolve high-impact credit and collection matters
  • Identify systemic drivers of delinquency and credit exposure and lead initiatives to strengthen controls, processes, and collection effectiveness
  • Drive process transformation and continuous improvement across Credit & Collections, leveraging automation, AI, analytics, and scalable operating models to improve efficiency and decision-making
  • Serve as the subject-matter authority for Credit & Collections, providing guidance on complex cases, policies, credit decisions, and commercial considerations

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched August 31, 2026 and last changed by Databricks on August 31, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds.
