Global Business Services’ (GBS) primary goal is to ensure operational excellence across deal cycles, increase revenue through the development of transformative commercial constructs, and drive closure of Stripe’s sold portfolio. The team's reach is widespread across Stripe, not exclusive to one sales segment or geographical region. GBS drives change across go-to-market, positively impacting Stripe users and cross-functional teams. GBS priorities are set through the direction of Stripe leadership and executive vision, partnership with sales and cross-functional organizations, as well as user feedback and market insights.

What it asks for · 5

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or Economics with 8+ years of experience in deal management, procurement, pricing strategy, or financial consulting
  • Experience working in ambiguous, quickly scaling environments, comfortable with high-agency
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Experience working in Payments and SaaS, and redlining agreements
  • Experience in Salesforce and Ironclad

  • Experience training or enabling sales teams on pricing, quoting, and contract best practices

What the job covers

  • Manage end-to-end customer deals —drafting, editing, and reviewing agreements—while supporting the sales cycle to ensure deal terms align with business goals, reflect strategic priorities, and close as forecasted.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Sales, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders for deal-related questions, approvals, and escalations.
  • Work directly with sales teams, sales leaders, services/support teams and customers to advise on deal structures, establish compelling commercials, and drive closure of customer issues.
  • Understand the business and technical requirements of our customers and partners, advising sales teams on the best approach (balancing risk between custom terms and internal system limitations).
  • Remove internal blockers and drive solutions between cross-functional teams such as Product, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Service Teams, etc.
  • Support complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial and legal agreements.
  • Support the pricing and structuring of multithreaded product use cases in all segments and industries especially in highly competitive sales.
  • Quickly build credibility and trust with internal customers.
  • Provide strong support, communication, and persuasion skills including XFN and senior leaders.

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched September 24, 2026 and last changed by Stripe on September 24, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds. Openings close without warning; check the source before spending an evening on it.
