You’ll also partner closely with Solutions Architecture, Product, Risk, Legal, Marketing, and other teams to deepen Stripe’s presence across LATAM.
What it asks for · 14

- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and scaling a high-performing enterprise sales team.
- A consistent record of meeting or exceeding individual or team sales targets.
- Experience developing and executing regional, territory, and account strategies.
- Experience coaching sellers through complex, end-to-end sales cycles involving technical, commercial, product, risk, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with strategic customers, senior executives, industry leaders, and partners.
- Strong commercial judgment and experience supporting complex deal strategies and negotiations.
- Ability to understand technical requirements, communicate technical concepts clearly, and connect Stripe’s capabilities to customer value.
- Experience partnering across functions to address complex customer needs and deliver thoughtful solutions.
- Strong business-management skills, including pipeline inspection, forecasting, performance management, and operating cadence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Strong presentation, influence, and stakeholder-management skills with senior audiences, in person and virtually.
- Experience operating in an ambiguous, high-growth, technology-forward environment.
- Ability to work from Stripe’s Mexico City office in accordance with the team’s in-office expectations.
Also a plus
- Experience selling payments, fintech, financial infrastructure, technical SaaS, cloud or data infrastructure, developer tools, or another complex enterprise technology.
- Experience leading enterprise sales teams in Mexico or across multiple LATAM markets.
- Familiarity with Mexico’s payments ecosystem and the broader financial-services landscape across LATAM.
- Experience managing teams responsible for both new-customer acquisition and expansion within existing enterprise accounts.
- Experience selling to retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, platforms, or other complex digital businesses.
- Experience implementing a structured enterprise sales methodology such as MEDDIIC.
- Experience building or scaling a sales team in a developing market.
- Professional proficiency in Portuguese.

- Coach Account Executives across the full enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, business-case development, solution design, negotiation, close, and long-term account growth.
- Develop the team’s capabilities in collaborative pipeline generation, consultative and solution-based selling, closing strategy, and MEDDIIC.
- Help the team create and execute territory and account strategies that generate new business and expand Stripe’s footprint within existing users.
- Provide hands-on coaching for complex opportunities, including executive engagement, deal strategy, commercial structuring, and negotiation.
- Build trusted relationships with strategic customers, industry leaders, partners, and senior stakeholders across the region.
