As a senior Product Designer on Growth, you'll own how Claude grows with people who use it for their everyday work. You'll dig into why some people make Claude a habit and others don't, find the real bottlenecks, and lead the product changes that move them. You'll set the vision for this area, partner closely with product, engineering, and data science, and raise the quality bar for the designers around you.

What it asks for · 7

  • A portfolio of shipped product design work that shows product vision and a high level of craft
  • Experience owning growth for a major product area end to end, including diagnosing problems and setting direction
  • Deep growth design experience in activation, onboarding, retention, engagement, or expansion, on a product at meaningful scale
  • Hands-on experience designing, launching, and interpreting experiments, and using them to make product decisions
  • Fluency with product analytics such as funnels, retention, and engagement
  • Proficiency with design, prototyping, and AI tools, such as Figma and Claude Code, and a habit of learning new tools to push what's possible
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience driving alignment across product, engineering, and data science

Also a plus

  • Experience leading growth strategy across multiple teams or product areas
  • Experience designing enterprise/B2B SaaS, productivity, or collaboration tools
  • Experience with product-led growth, from a single user to a team to a company-wide rollout
  • Experience mentoring designers or shaping a design practice
  • Comfort querying data yourself with SQL or a similar tool
  • Experience prototyping with front-end code (e.g., HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Experience defining AI-powered workflows for yourself or your team
  • A clear point of view on when a product should ask for attention, and when it should stay out of the way

What the job covers

  • Own growth for how people use Claude in their everyday work, end to end, as your full-time focus
  • Diagnose what drives deep, habitual use and what blocks it, combining data, research, and hands-on time in the product
  • Set an opinionated vision for the area and turn it into a roadmap with your PM, engineering, and data science partners
  • Redesign core parts of the product to drive growth, from onboarding and first-run experiences to the everyday workflows people rely on most
  • Shape hypotheses and experiments, and judge results with a nuanced view of how we win, not just the topline metric
  • Deliver exceptionally crafted interactions and set the quality bar for your area
  • Drive alignment with partner teams whose work touches your area, connecting individual use to team and company adoption
  • Mentor other designers, and frame problems clearly enough that others can own them
  • Prototype and test ideas quickly with Claude Code and other AI tools

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched October 9, 2026 and last changed by Anthropic on October 9, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds. Openings close without warning; check the source before spending an evening on it.
