Product Marketing at Modern Health is the connective tissue between Service Delivery (Product, Clinical, Care, Ops, Member Engagement) and Revenue (Sales, Client Success, Marketing). We are the source of truth for how Modern Health talks about its services and solutions externally: to employers, brokers, consultants, and members in a way that is clear, compelling, and consistent yet tailored to each of our unique clients needs. We're looking for a Director of Product Marketing who leads with a point of view. This is not a role for someone who reacts to the product roadmap. It's for someone who shapes the market narrative, brings conviction to positioning decisions, and ensures every asset, launch, and sales interaction tells a coherent, differentiated story that lines up with our market positioning.

What it asks for · 10

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record owning positioning and messaging for a complex, multi-product B2B solution in health tech or HR benefits.
  • 3+ years experience working in Health Tech, Health Care, or HR Benefits environments.
  • A natural storyteller with strong POV: someone who can write a compelling positioning brief, defend a messaging decision in a room of skeptics, and cut through internal politics to drive clarity.
  • Deep fluency in GTM launch processes you've run the full lifecycle multiple times and can coach the company through it.
  • Experience developing sales-facing materials that actually get used and drive sales: battlecards, pitch decks, one-pagers, and frameworks that resonate with sophisticated buyers (consultants, HR leaders, CFOs).
  • Ability to distill complex clinical, technical, or data-driven content into buyer-relevant narratives without losing nuance.
  • Sharp competitive instincts you track the market, understand competitor positioning, and know how to use it.
  • Collaborative, direct, and structured communicator who can align stakeholders across Product, Sales, Care, and Executive leadership.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be able to maintain work authorization for the duration of employment without employer sponsorship or employer-provided training plans or attestations (including, for example, the Form I-983 required for STEM OPT).

Also a plus

  • Lead positioning for Modern Health's solution tiers and packages
  • Define how we talk about "what's in the box" across buyer personas articulating trade-offs, upgrade paths, and bundle value clearly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and GTM Leadership to ensure packaging is commercially viable, compliantly positioned, and consistently communicated in market.
  • Drive naming, framing, and GTM readiness for new service categories and solution expansions.
  • Build strong working relationships with Product, Clinical, Sales, CM, and Communications as a respected strategic partner not just a service provider.

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched August 25, 2026 and last changed by Modern Health on July 24, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds. Openings close without warning; check the source before spending an evening on it.
