Databricks is seeking an experienced, hands-on leader to serve as Senior Manager, Order to Revenue IT Compliance. As Databricks continues to scale, protecting our usage-based revenue engine requires dedicated operational and fiduciary oversight at the intersection of product metering, cloud partner ecosystems, and financial accounting. In this key leadership role, you will lead the core execution of usage-related controls, manage reconciliation processes and automation roadmap across cloud platform billing partners, and partner closely with engineering to ensure our platform metering dataset acts as the single internal source of truth for revenue yield and compliance.

  • Platform Consumption & Monetization Controls : Partner with engineering and finance functions to design internal controls over platform consumption and monetization calculations & oversee compliant execution of such controls. Liaise directly with Internal Audit regarding control environments.
  • Cloud Partner Reconciliations : Oversee the end-to-end reconciliation of internal platform usage against usage submitted by cloud platform partners (GCP, AWS, Azure). Analyze all reconciling items between internal and external usage, resolve discrepancies stemming from errors/bugs, identify revenue recognition impacts in consultation with accounting, and establish standardized governance processes.
  • SOX & Engineering Process Execution : Execute processes in close collaboration with Engineering to ensure all usage-related, financially impacting workflows are accurate, complete, SOX-ready, and fully validated prior to customer billing and revenue conversion.
  • Metering Data Set Management : Manage the paid usage metering dataset to ensure the revenue yield for every unit of consumption remains precise, maintaining a reliable internal source of truth for Finance, FP&A, and business stakeholders.
