Claude has had commercial impact, but there’s significantly more that frontier AI can do outside of general use cases. Some of the largest opportunities: a step change in health, education, and economic opportunity for the people and institutions the technology would otherwise reach last, sit outside general-purpose use cases. As the Product Manager for Beneficial Deployments within Anthropic Labs, that's your job. You will own two things: the 0-to-1 moonshot bets that could provide a step change in abundance, and the programs that get Claude into the hands of the organizations already working on these problems.

What it asks for · 6

  • Have shipped products at a large technology company and know how to work with engineering, legal, policy, and go-to-market teams at scale
  • Possess a deep technical background and have shipped technical products with engineering teams
  • Have a track record of products or programs that reached a large number of users or organizations
  • Can navigate and execute amidst ambiguity, flex into new domains based on the problem at hand, and find simple solutions
  • Think creatively about the risks and benefits of new technologies, beyond existing checklists and playbooks
  • Stay hands-on with emerging research and prototype with AI tools like Claude Code

Also a plus

  • Have 5+ years in product management or equivalent operating roles, with experience launching new products and scaling existing ones
  • Have worked inside a civic institution, public agency, nonprofit, or other beneficial organization
  • Have founded a company or organization, or were one of the first people building one

What the job covers

  • Identify where emerging capabilities could change outcomes for underserved populations
  • Work with researchers to understand what's emerging and what it means for users
  • Build prototypes yourself to validate ideas before committing resources
  • Lead 0-to-1 product development from research to internal prototypes to shipped products
  • Define product strategy for experimental initiatives that push beyond our current offerings
  • Creatively build MVPs and prototypes to validate product-market fit with the lowest cost possible
  • Lead vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of frontier technologies that leverage the latest AI capabilities to solve real-world problems
  • Design and run the programs through which beneficial organizations across all pillars get access to Claude
  • Own the path from access to success. Find out what stops these organizations from deploying Claude and remove it

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched August 30, 2026 and last changed by Anthropic on August 27, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds. Openings close without warning; check the source before spending an evening on it.
