As an Account Executive on Stripe’s Hunter Enterprise team, you’ll drive new business by building relationships with prospective enterprise customers across Australia. You’ll work with a named account list, identify where Stripe can solve complex business challenges, and turn those opportunities into long-term customer relationships.

What it asks for · 7

  • 8+ years of sales experience, including at least 2 years working with enterprise customers, preferably at a technology company, with a demonstrated record of exceeding commercial targets.
  • Experience winning new enterprise customers through self-generated pipeline, targeted prospecting, and strategic account development.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute account plans across complex organisations with multiple business units, stakeholders, or subsidiaries.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through solution development, commercial negotiation, and close.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value and engage confidently with senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, including experience building business cases and securing executive support.
  • Ability to prioritise independently and make progress in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity.

Also a plus

  • Experience selling to enterprise organisations in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Experience selling payments, financial infrastructure, or technically complex software platforms.
  • Prior experience at a growth-stage internet or software company.
  • Experience working closely with technical pre-sales, product, partnerships, and implementation teams.

What the job covers

  • Own a named portfolio of prospective enterprise accounts across ANZ and develop strategic account plans to win new business.
  • Build and execute targeted outbound strategies to create qualified opportunities and maintain a strong pipeline.
  • Map complex organisations, identify decision-makers, and build relationships with executive sponsors and stakeholders across Finance, Product, Engineering, and Payments.
  • Lead the full new-business sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through solution development, commercial negotiation, and signing.
  • Understand prospective customers’ business and technical challenges, and position Stripe’s platform and products against their priorities.
  • Lead product workshops, business case development, and financial analyses that help prospective customers quantify the value of adopting Stripe.
  • Develop competitive deal strategies and lead complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders and bespoke commercial agreements.
  • Partner with internal technical, product, partnerships, and post-sales teams to shape solutions and support a coordinated transition from signing to implementation and launch.

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched November 1, 2026 and last changed by Stripe on October 30, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds. Openings close without warning; check the source before spending an evening on it.
