What the job covers
- Manage the full lifecycle of our benefits programs, including market research, benchmarking, plan design, vendor selection and management, annual renewals and negotiations, communications, administration, security reviews, and compliance.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, and recommend new or updated programs that align with Stripe’s business and Total Rewards strategy.
- Act as a subject matter expert and develop clear communication plans that help Stripes understand our programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors, and manage the request for proposal process in partnership with Procurement.
- Assess vendor performance and manage contracts in partnership with Legal, ensuring that vendors meet their contractual commitments.
- Compile, analyze, and report on key benefits metrics.
- Partner closely with People Partners, People Consultants, Finance, Payroll, Employee Relations, and Legal to support a coordinated approach to our benefits strategy.
- Partner with Finance to manage the benefits budget, prepare cost projections, and evaluate the return on investment of new and existing programs.
- Use Workday and our benefits administration platform to improve workflows and reporting.
- Partner with People Systems to deliver key initiatives and projects.
