Metronome is a usage-based billing platform and a Stripe product. It helps modern software companies launch products faster, offer flexible pricing models, and streamline finance workflows.

What it asks for · 6

  • 5+ years of experience in technical or customer-facing roles involving SaaS products, such as sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical account management, or deployment strategy.
  • Experience leading complex implementations for enterprise technology companies.
  • Experience working in fast-moving environments that value initiative and ownership.
  • Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts to technical, go-to-market, and finance stakeholders.
  • Interest in building and improving go-to-market playbooks, processes, and reusable assets.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, depending on customer needs.

Also a plus

  • Deep knowledge of quote-to-cash processes, including experience integrating with or working alongside platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, CPQ systems, and the Stripe ecosystem.
  • Experience as a software engineer, product manager, or in another technical role.
  • Strong understanding of project- and program-management fundamentals.
  • Experience working with stakeholders in finance, engineering, product, sales operations, or billing operations.
  • Experience with logs, metrics, billing, finance, infrastructure, or financial tooling and concepts.

What the job covers

  • Conduct discovery and scoping to understand customers’ challenges across billing, product launches, pricing and packaging, quote-to-cash, customer experience, and related areas.
  • Support customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, integration design, testing, data migration, and launch.
  • Provide expert guidance on usage-based pricing and consumption-based business models.
  • Configure Metronome’s platform on behalf of customers.
  • Design integrations between Metronome’s APIs and customers’ business systems—including CRM and CPQ platforms, payment and tax systems, ERP and billing providers, and reporting and analytics tools—in alignment with Metronome best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and Metronome’s research and development teams, advocating for customer needs and feature requests.
  • Partner with implementation managers and other project-team members to provide visibility into progress and proactively identify risks and issues.
  • Build relationships across customer organizations, from day-to-day operators to C-suite executives. Meet customers in person when doing so will improve the engagement.
  • Advise customers on integrating Metronome into their systems and help shape their pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Ensure an effective handoff to Customer Success and Technical Support.

How this page was made

An automated read of a public job posting, fetched September 22, 2026 and last changed by Stripe on September 22, 2026. Every list above is pulled from the posting’s own sentences — nothing rewritten, nothing added, no judgment about the role or the company. Counts and seniority are read off the text by rule, so they can be wrong where the posting is unusual. The original is the only thing that binds. Openings close without warning; check the source before spending an evening on it.
