As a Strategy and Transformation Advisor, Enterprise Commerce Architecture, you will be the senior strategic advisor for complex enterprise commerce pursuits in AMER. You will help customers develop a clear, prescriptive point of view on how Stripe should fit within their future-state architecture and what that means for their commerce platforms, order management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and finance estate, customer and loyalty systems, identity, data platforms, fulfillment operations, and engineering organization.

- Deep understanding of enterprise commerce architecture, including systems such as commerce platforms, order management, ERP and finance, CRM, loyalty, identity, fulfillment, and cloud data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of API-first integration, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms, data flows, and enterprise operational models.
- Working knowledge of payments and financial infrastructure, including acceptance, acquiring, settlement, reconciliation, fraud and risk, compliance, and multi-party payment models.
- Ability to connect architecture decisions to business outcomes, including revenue growth, conversion, authorization performance, operational efficiency, resilience, cost, and speed to market.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to make complex architecture decisions understandable to executive audiences.
- Demonstrated experience leading ambiguous, cross-functional strategic engagements from initial discovery through a practical recommendation and roadmap.

- Experience with Stripe or comparable payments and financial infrastructure platforms.
- Experience in enterprise retail, marketplaces, platforms, software as a service (SaaS), travel, media, mobility, or other complex commerce environments.
- Experience across omnichannel commerce, global payment methods, subscriptions, business-to-business payments, marketplaces, embedded finance, or platform monetization models.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and methods, such as capability modeling, value stream analysis, domain-driven design, and transformation roadmapping.
- Experience advising on data architecture, reconciliation, risk and fraud operations, AI-enabled financial operations, or commerce personalization.
- A track record of coaching senior technical practitioners and influencing cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
- External credibility through senior customer advisory work, industry speaking, publications, or contributions to enterprise technology or payments communities.
